Things are still rough with the traveling. It’s hard to remember where we are supposed to be and when, and I think the parents are having a hard time with it also. At the same time, the kids seem to be getting better. Even the ones who were reluctant to participate are doing a little more now. And some of the ones who were completely opposed haven’t come back yet.
I’ve also worked a bit with the 2-5 group. There are 4 YCs assigned to the group, but the 2 who have been here the longest were on the same break schedule today. That left a brand new girl, Lollipop, and a girl who has only been here a week. When that happened I went in the room since I’ve been here longer and said that they were my favorite group.
*Note: they were my favorite, but we had a much smaller group that was extremely well behaved. We’ll see how it goes as the numbers keep increasing.
Tonight was my early off night, so I made plans with all of the others on the same schedule to go and eat at Salsa, one of the specialty restaurants.
*Note: The food is awful here. And by awful, I mean that I can eat every single day at the buffet and at the specialty restaurants when I can work them into my schedule. I eat. A lot.
Croc’s mom and his two aunts decided to take a cruise together for fun and so they could visit Croc during his adventures. We all got to eat with them, and it was a ton of fun! I had all kinds of yummy dishes including an awesome tortilla soup (that’s right Jim, be jealous) and LOBSTER tacos. Yummy.
After that, I started my laundry and then went to meet some of the other YCs for drinks it was fun and got me through the wash cycle. When I got back to the room after putting everything in the dryer, my roomy came in and said she felt awful and had just thrown up. She went back to our bathroom with the possibility of the same thing occurring, so I went to get on the internet and ended up meeting the new Second City cast. All in all, it was a pretty basic day!
