Hmm...

The people who came by this morning were the same beople that came by yesterday. Possibilities? Very exciting! Hopefully it will all work out. They are looking at another condo in the complex. They like our location better, but they like the colors at the other place better. We offered to paint to suit the buyer, so we'll see if that helps us.

High Hopes

I hope that we aren't getting our hopes too high. It's just that everyone is talking about how bad the market is, but we're doing okay so far. We had that guy ask abou the condo on Monday, our first showing today, and we already have another one scheduled for tomorrow! Here's hoping it will be as painless as it seems to have started out!

My First Post!

So...I've been wanting to start a blog for a while. I have a few friends on Blogger and I read them almost obsessively. I felt like I needed a milestone to start my blog. I'm already married, so that wouldn't work. I thought I'd start on the first of the year. Didn't do it. I still wanted to do this, but didn't have any events I thought were worthy of starting the blog. Well, today marked an event (no, I am NOT pregnant).

Today we officially listed our condo for sale!

We want to find a house and hopefully some more space. We decided to start looking and then realized that we had to get the place ready. Over the course of a month we moved furniture out, packed up "clutter," and took down our awesome photos. That part sucked. Jim commented on how it doesn't feel like our place any more without all our pictures. At the same time, we know our agent was right when she said we had to get those personal articles out of the way.

We really like our agent, but there are times when she drives us crazy. Plus, she likes us and spends a LOT of time with us when she comes over. I had to kick her out last Monday after THREE hours. Today she left in just under an hour, but still. She was just taking pictures. Oh well.

After she left we ordered Chinese food and had it delivered. Neither of us wanted to cook, wanted to clean up, or wanted to go out and get something. When Jim answered the door, the delivery guy said something about the lockbox on the door and asked if the place was for sale. Jim said that we had just officially listed it. The delivery guy asked about the list price and a few other things. It was hilarious! I doubt that he will be our buyer, but it would make an interesting story!

So, that's the start of this whole blog thing. I'll post some pics I took of the prepared place soon
